Tim Wolfe is an American businessman and the former president of the University of Missouri System. He was born on December 5, 1957, in DeSoto, Missouri. Wolfe served as the president of the university system from 2012 to 2015.

During his time as president, Wolfe faced criticism and protests from students, faculty, and staff for his handling of racial issues on campus. In 2015, a series of protests, including a hunger strike by a student activist, led to Wolfe's resignation as president.

After leaving the University of Missouri, Wolfe joined the private equity firm Flexpoint Ford as an operating partner. He has also served on various boards and has been involved in philanthropic efforts in his community.
